Simple relaxing and loosening exercises before doing Qigong.
Warm-ups (1) and (2) are about letting go of the musculature, and releasing any tension in the body.
- (1) is to allow energy to circulate better in the arms, and (2) is do the same with the legs.
- (2) is also about getting energy to travel through the body using an awareness of the vibration created in the legs which is then transmitted to the torso and head.
- (3) is to make the torso work, so that energy is moved through the Ren (Conception Vessel) on the front of the body, and the Du (Governing Channel) on the back of the body.
